I <br /> SECTION 0011 13 <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Evergreen Pump Station Upgrades project will <br /> be received at the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door #5, Everett, WA, 98201, until <br /> 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 1, 2022. The Purchasing Counter is open Monday- Friday, from <br /> 8:00am - 3:00pm. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud publicly via <br /> webcast only. The link for the webcast is located at https//www.everettwa.gov/319/purchasing. <br /> For questions regarding logging into the webcast call (425) 257-8904. The engineer's estimate <br /> 111 for this Project is $4,100,000.00, not including sales tax. <br /> The City of Everett owns the Evergreen Pump Station at 6107 Evergreen Way in Everett WA and <br /> is seeking a Contractor to construct and/or install the following, but not limited to, <br /> • Demolition to include but not limited to, exterior and interior utilities, such as electrical and <br /> control equipment, electrical and power conduits and cable, drain pipe, asphalt and <br /> concrete paving and pads, trees, and HVAC equipment. <br /> • New CMU electrical building (40'x32') with electrical and controls equipment and HVAC <br /> • Replacement of electronic surge control panels <br /> • Seismic improvements to the pump station <br /> • HVAC improvements to the pump station <br /> • New power service <br /> • Ventilation system improvements to the pump station <br /> • New inline flow meter with manhole and sump pump <br /> • Asphalt concrete paving <br /> • Site piping revisions <br /> • Site grading with concrete block retaining walls <br /> Optional Pre-Bid walk-through is scheduled at 1:00 pm on Thursday January 20, 2022, on <br /> site at 6107 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA. All interested bidders must attend at least one of these <br /> scheduled walk-throughs. Any questions and/or answers that may affect the bid will be included <br /> in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the plan holders. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents(plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) <br /> is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and <br /> clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room <br /> provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order <br /> full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off <br /> tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification <br /> of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do <br /> not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the <br /> Ion-line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
