PIPF <br /> f- 1 <br /> -f ., <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3747 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to petition, the Commissioners of <br /> Snohomish County, Washington, did hold a special election on <br /> the 8th day of December, 1959, on the proposition of the <br /> annexation of certain property to the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have entered <br /> a finding concerning the canvassing and return of vote on said <br /> issue and filed a certified copy of such findings with the <br /> City Clerk of the City of Everett together with a certified <br /> abstract of the vote showing the whole number who voted at the <br /> election, the number of votes cast for annexation and the <br /> number cast against annexation, and <br /> WHEREAS, said certified abstract shows 592 votes for <br /> annexation and 464 votes against annexation, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Commissioners of the City of Everett <br /> desire to annex said territory to the City of Everett, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That the property hereinafter described be, <br /> and the same is hereby annexed on the 31st day of J%cetiber, 1959 <br /> to the City of Everett, a municipal corporation: <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the west property line <br /> of the Beverly Park-Maple Heights Road (Glenwood Avenue) <br /> with the south line of Sec. 36, T 29 N, R 4 EWM, said <br /> line also being the Seventh Standard Parallel North; th <br /> east along said Seventh Standard Parallel North to the <br /> NW corner of the Plat of Highland Farms No. 2; th SEly <br /> and Sthly along the Wtly boundaries of the Plat of <br /> Highland Farms No. 2 and the Plat of Highland Farms to <br /> the SW corner of the Plat of Highland Farms; th Ely along <br /> the Sly boundary of said Plat to the W property line of <br /> Beverly Lane; th N along the W property line of Beverly <br /> Lane to the S line of the Plat of Highland Farms No. 2; <br /> th E along said S boundary for 50 ft. to the E property <br /> line of said Beverly Lane; th,S along said E property <br /> line of Beverly Lane to the NW corner of Lot 35, Flat <br /> of Highland Acres, Snohomish County; th Estly along the <br /> S property line of Center Drive in said Plat to the E <br /> property line of West Drive produced Sthly in its present <br /> platted direction in said Plat of Highland Acres; th <br /> Nthly along the E property line of said West Drive and <br /> West Drive produced for 639.08 ft. to a point of tangency <br /> with a curve to the right; th following said curve to <br /> the right to an intersection with the W line of Tract 49 <br /> of said Plat of Highland Acres produced Sly in its <br /> present platted direction; th Nthly along the W line of <br /> Tract 49 and said W line produced Sthly to an intersection <br /> with the N line of the S 100 ft. of the E 150 ft. of <br /> Tract 48 of said Plat of Highland Acres produced Estly; <br /> th Wstly along the N line of said S 100 ft. of the E 150 <br /> ft. of said Tract 48 and said line produced for 210 ft. , <br /> m/1, to an intersection with a line 100 ft. Wstly of <br /> and parallel to the W property line of West Drive; th <br /> Nthly along said line parallel to the W property line of <br /> West Drive for 110 ft. ; th Wstly to a point on the W <br /> line of said Tract 48 which point lies 210 ft. Nthly <br /> along said W line from the SW corner of said Tract 48; <br /> th Nthly along the W line of said Tract 48 to an inter- <br /> section with the Seventh Standard Parallel North; th E <br />
