A <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3746 <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and <br /> assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 655 for the <br /> improvement of Wetmore Ave. from the north property line of 6th <br /> St. to 5th St. by constructing a 2 " asphaltic concrete pavement, <br /> 36 ft. in width, concrete curbs and gutters, portland cement <br /> concrete sidewalks on both sides of the street, providing for <br /> the necessary surface drainage and doing all such other work as <br /> may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete <br /> improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 6135 of the <br /> City of Everett; all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3722 of <br /> the City of Everett, levying an assessment on account thereof <br /> against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land or other <br /> property as shown on said roll, providing for the issuance of <br /> bonds therefor, and fixing the date of issue thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of <br /> Local Improvement District No. 655 for the improvement of: <br /> Wetmore Ave. from the north property line of 6th <br /> St. to 5th St. <br /> by construction of a 2 " asphaltic concrete pavement, 35 ft. in <br /> width, concrete curbs and gutters, portland cement concrete <br /> sidewalks on both sides of the street, providing for the <br /> necessary surface drainage and doing all such other work as may <br /> be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improve- <br /> ment, all in accordance with Resolution No. 6135 of the City of <br /> Everett, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3722 of the City <br /> of Everett, as the same now stands, be, and the same is hereby <br /> in all things approved and confirmed. <br /> SECTION 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of <br /> land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially <br /> benefitted by said improvement in at least the amount charged <br /> against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment <br /> against said lot, tract and parcel of land, or other property <br /> appearing on said roll, in the amount finally charged against <br /> the same. <br /> SECTION 3: That the % , day of / , /` , 1960, is <br /> hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required <br /> to be issued on account of such improvement. <br /> SECTION 4: That the sum charged against each lot, tract <br /> and parcel of land and other property, or any portion of such <br /> sum, may be paid during the thirty-day period following the date <br /> of first publication by the Treasurer that such assessment has <br /> been placed in his hands for collection. <br /> SECTION 5 : That the City of Everett may sell said bonds <br /> and make payment in cash in the manner provided by the ordinances <br /> of said City. <br /> Atte t: <br /> f / <br /> Ginty C r <br /> Passed: DEC 2 2 1959 <br /> Published: , DtC 2 4 1959 <br />
