IN% • 4 • ORDINANCE NO. 3741 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3604 ENTITLED: An Ordinance prohibiting the hanging or suspending of banners, signs or decorations across the public streets and thoroughfares of the City of Everett, except at the celebration of the 4th of July and Christmas, and then only when licensed by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 3604 is hereby amended to read as follows : Section 2: Any person desiring to hang or sus- pend a sign, banner or decorations over or across the public streets or thoroughfares of the City of Everett at the celebration of the 4th of July and Christmas as provided in Section 1 of this ordin- ance shall make application to the City Council of the City of Everett for license and shall furnish a bond in the sum of $1000.00 conditioned that he will save harmless the City of Everett from any and all claims arising out of his actions in cnnnection therewith and that he will faithfully remove all • banners and decorations and replace and repair all public property damaged, and will furnish a cert- ificate showing evidence that he or it has liability insurance in effect during the term of said license with an insurance company acceptable to the City Commissioners of the City of Everett with minimum limits for bodily injury to any one person in any one accident of S25,000 and a limit of 850,000 for bodily injury in any one accident and a limit of S10,000 for property damage, provided further that such insurance shall be cancelable only after ten (10) days written notice to the City of Everett. Cancellation or voiding of applicant' s bond or insurance policy by whatsoever means shall auto- matically cancel said applicant' s license herein granted.
