IN% • 4 • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3741 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3604 <br /> ENTITLED: <br /> An Ordinance prohibiting the hanging or suspending <br /> of banners, signs or decorations across the public <br /> streets and thoroughfares of the City of Everett, <br /> except at the celebration of the 4th of July and <br /> Christmas, and then only when licensed by the <br /> City Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 3604 is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 2: Any person desiring to hang or sus- <br /> pend a sign, banner or decorations over or across <br /> the public streets or thoroughfares of the City of <br /> Everett at the celebration of the 4th of July and <br /> Christmas as provided in Section 1 of this ordin- <br /> ance shall make application to the City Council of <br /> the City of Everett for license and shall furnish <br /> a bond in the sum of $1000.00 conditioned that he <br /> will save harmless the City of Everett from any and <br /> all claims arising out of his actions in cnnnection <br /> therewith and that he will faithfully remove all <br /> • <br /> banners and decorations and replace and repair all <br /> public property damaged, and will furnish a cert- <br /> ificate showing evidence that he or it has liability <br /> insurance in effect during the term of said license <br /> with an insurance company acceptable to the City <br /> Commissioners of the City of Everett with minimum <br /> limits for bodily injury to any one person in any <br /> one accident of S25,000 and a limit of 850,000 for <br /> bodily injury in any one accident and a limit of <br /> S10,000 for property damage, provided further that <br /> such insurance shall be cancelable only after ten <br /> (10) days written notice to the City of Everett. <br /> Cancellation or voiding of applicant' s bond or <br /> insurance policy by whatsoever means shall auto- <br /> matically cancel said applicant' s license herein <br /> granted. <br /> Attest: <br /> City le k <br /> Passed: Dec. 8, 1959 <br /> Published: Dec. 9, 1959 <br />
