ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE of the City of Everett, Washington, <br /> fixing rates and charges for the connection <br /> of private sewers to public sewers and for <br /> sewerage services furnished by the city, <br /> creating a Sewer Revenue Fund, and repealing <br /> ordinances in conflict herewith. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett, Washington, presently owns, <br /> maintains and operates a municipal sewer system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the costs of the collection lines of such system <br /> have heretofore been borne by the property owners abutting or vicinal <br /> to such collection lines; and <br /> WHEREAS, the city is contemplating the construction and <br /> installation of additions and improvements to and extensions of said <br /> system; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is contemplated that the moneys necessary to <br /> pay the cost of part or all of such additions, improvements and ex- <br /> tensions shall be provided by the issuance and sale of sewer revenue <br /> bonds of the city; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable that the property owners <br /> connecting to and using such additions and improvements to and ex- <br /> tensions of said system pay the cost of their own collection lines <br /> through connection charges and increased sewer service charges; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Commission that said <br /> increased charges be maintained only as long as necessary to pay for <br /> such additions, improvements and extensions; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and advisable that a schedule of <br /> connections and sewer service charges be now fixed; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission of the <br /> City of Everett, Washington, as follows: <br />
