l ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of WETMORE AVE. from the north property line of 7th St. to the north pro- perty line of 6th St. by constructing a 22" asphaltic concrete pavement, thirty-six (36' ) ft. in width, concrete curbs and gutters, portland cement concrete sidewalks on both sides of the street, providing for the necessary surface drainage, and doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement; all in accordance with Resolution No. 6126 of the City of Everett; creating a local improvement district; creating a local improvement district fund therefor; and providing for the payment of said improvement by special assessments on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6126 of the City of Everett, the City Council has declared its intention to order the im- provement as above outlined and doing all work in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Everett, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That an improvement be made of Wetmore Ave. from the north property line of 7th St. to the north property line of 6th St. by constructing a 22" asphaltic concrete pave- ment, thirty-six (36 ' ) ft. in width, concrete curbs and gutters, portland cement concrete sidewalks on both sides of the street, providing for the necessary surface drainage and doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all according to the plans and specifications of the City Engineer and which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expenses of such improve- ment, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement, except as provided by Chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto and the ordinances of the City of Everett. Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improvement district to be known as "Local Improvement District No. ;;r.> ", which district shall include the following des- cribed property located in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington, to-wit: S 55 ' of Lot 8, Block 111, Replat of Blks. 110 & 111 in Plat of Legion Park Add. to Everett. Lots 1 to 14, inc. , Blk. 128, Legion Park Add. to Everett. Lots 15 to 18, inc. , Blk. 129, Legion Park Add. to Everett. Section 4: A special fund is hereby created to be called "Local Improvement Fund No. 653 ", which shall consist in the aggregate of the several amounts assessed, levied and
