l <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of WETMORE <br /> AVE. from the north property line of 7th St. to the north pro- <br /> perty line of 6th St. by constructing a 22" asphaltic concrete <br /> pavement, thirty-six (36' ) ft. in width, concrete curbs and <br /> gutters, portland cement concrete sidewalks on both sides of the <br /> street, providing for the necessary surface drainage, and doing <br /> all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith <br /> to make a complete improvement; all in accordance with <br /> Resolution No. 6126 of the City of Everett; creating a local <br /> improvement district; creating a local improvement district <br /> fund therefor; and providing for the payment of said improvement <br /> by special assessments on the property in said district under <br /> the mode of payment by bonds. <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6126 of the City of Everett, <br /> the City Council has declared its intention to order the im- <br /> provement as above outlined and doing all work in connection <br /> therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance with the <br /> plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer of <br /> the City of Everett, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an improvement be made of Wetmore Ave. <br /> from the north property line of 7th St. to the north property <br /> line of 6th St. by constructing a 22" asphaltic concrete pave- <br /> ment, thirty-six (36 ' ) ft. in width, concrete curbs and gutters, <br /> portland cement concrete sidewalks on both sides of the street, <br /> providing for the necessary surface drainage and doing all such <br /> other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all <br /> according to the plans and specifications of the City Engineer <br /> and which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expenses of such improve- <br /> ment, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be <br /> borne by and assessed against the property included in the <br /> assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The <br /> City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any <br /> portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement, except <br /> as provided by Chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923, or acts <br /> amendatory thereto and the ordinances of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 3: That there is hereby established a local <br /> improvement district to be known as "Local Improvement District <br /> No. ;;r.> ", which district shall include the following des- <br /> cribed property located in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington, <br /> to-wit: <br /> S 55 ' of Lot 8, Block 111, Replat of Blks. 110 & <br /> 111 in Plat of Legion Park Add. to Everett. <br /> Lots 1 to 14, inc. , Blk. 128, Legion Park Add. <br /> to Everett. <br /> Lots 15 to 18, inc. , Blk. 129, Legion Park Add. <br /> to Everett. <br /> Section 4: A special fund is hereby created to be <br /> called "Local Improvement Fund No. 653 ", which shall consist <br /> in the aggregate of the several amounts assessed, levied and <br />
