The imposition of one penalty for a violation shall not excuse the violation or permit it to continue and all such persons to whom the Fire Marshal Order has been issued shall be required to correct or remedy such violation or defect within the time set forth in such order and/or after such order has been affirmed or modified or the appeal period has elapsed for reviewing such order. Each ten days that prohibited conditions are maintained or a person shall continue to operate without a permit shall constitute a separate offense . The application of the above penalty by whatever action the City of Everett shall take shall not be held to pre- vent the enforced removal of the prohibited conditions. Section 12: Validity. The City of Everett hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence, or word of this ordinance or of the code hereby adopted be declared for any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the City of Everett that it would have passed all other portions of this, ordinance independent of the elimina- tion herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid. Section 13: That Ordinance Nos. 25, 1183, 1275, 1597, 1631 and 1494 be, and the same are hereby repealed.
