14 <br /> • r . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3695 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2860 <br /> entitled: <br /> An Ordinance requiring permits for the operation <br /> of restaurants and bakeries; prohibiting the sale <br /> of adulterated, unwholesome or misbranded food <br /> or drink; providing standards of sanitation; and <br /> regulating the inspection of such establishments, <br /> the enforcement of this ordinance, and the fixing <br /> of penalties, and declaring an emergency. <br /> by providing for a fee for issuance of permit. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2860 be, <br /> and it is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 3: Application for Permit. <br /> Any person desiring to operate and maintain a <br /> restaurant shall first make written application to <br /> the Health Officer of the City of Everett and pay <br /> the sum of S10.00 to the City Treasurer of the City <br /> of Everett. Such application shall set forth the <br /> name of such person and the location thereof. The <br /> Health Officer shall thereupon cause such place with <br /> all fixtures and appliances connected therewith or <br /> to be used therein to be carefully inspected and if <br /> said applicant shall have fully complied with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance said Health Officer <br /> shall issue a written printed permit to such <br /> applicant, which permit shall expire on the 31st day <br /> of December of the year in which it is issued. <br /> 'I ay o r <br /> Attest: <br /> City <br /> Passed: z Dec. 2', 1958 <br /> Published: " 3, 1958 <br />
