r, ! , ORDINANCE NO. 3689 AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property to the City of Everett in compliance with Chapter 128 of the laws of the State of Washington, 1945. WHEREAS, a petition in writing signed by the owners of more than seventy-five percent (75%) in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxation of the property for which annexation was petitioned, which petition set forth a description of the property according to governmental legal subdivisions and legal plats, and which petition was accompanied by a plat and drawing which outlined the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed, has been filed with the City Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, and WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix the 24th day of September , 1958 for hearing upon said petition and caused notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice also to be posted in three (3) places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation, and WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby annexed on the 1st day of December, 1958 to Everett, a municipal corporation: Begin at the northwest corner of Sec. 5, T 28 N, R 5 EWM; th easterly along the north line of said Sec. 5 for 30 ft. , m/1, to a point of intersection with the west line of Blk. 1, Laurel Heights, Snohomish County, Washington produced northerly in its present platted direction which point is also on the east marginal line of Old Pacific Highway as now established, produced northerly; th southerly along said west line of Blk. 1 Laurel Heights produced northerly and the east marginal line of Old Pacific Highway to a point of intersection with the south line of Mountain View Add. produced easterly in its present platted direction according to the plat thereof, records of Snohomish County, Washington; th westerly along said south line of Mountain View Add. and said south line produced easterly to the southwest corner of said Mountain View Add. , which corner_ is a point on the north line of North Beverly Park Div. No. 2, Snohomish County, Washington; th westerly along the said north line of North Beverly Park, Div. No. 2 and the north line of Beverly Hills Div.
