c. + <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3687 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572 <br /> of the City of Everett entitled: <br /> An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location <br /> and use of buildings and land within the City of <br /> Everett; limiting the heighth of buildings; pre- <br /> scribing building lines and size of yard and other <br /> open spaces; providing for the division of the city <br /> into use zones; creating a Board of Adjustment; and <br /> providing for penalties for violation of the <br /> ordinance. <br /> WHEREAS, there has been annexed to the City of Everett <br /> certain territory hereinafter described since the adoption of the <br /> above described zoning ordinance, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Everett <br /> has held a hearing as required by law for the zoning of the <br /> annexed territory and recommended to the City Council of the City <br /> of Everett the zoning of said annexed territory, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set forth are for <br /> the best interests of the City and in harmony with the compre- <br /> hensive plan of land use for the city. <br /> Section 2: That the City Council of the City of <br /> Everett does hereby amend the zone map of the City of Everett, <br /> also designated as use map of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572 as above outlined, to include <br /> the zoning of territory annexed to the City of Everett since the <br /> adoption of said ordinance as follows : <br /> The following described land is hereby zoned as <br /> RESIDENTIAL 1: <br /> Plat of Highland Farms. <br /> Also beginning at the SE corner of Govt. Lot 1, Section <br /> 1, T 28 N, R 4 EWM; thence S 88°181 W alono. the S line <br /> of said Govt. Lot 1 for 664.37 ft. ; th N lgl3 ' 30" W for <br /> 126.50 ft. ; th N 54°20'05" W for 132.22 ft. ; thence N <br /> 38°40'07" W for 231.09 ft. ; th N 20°51'52" W for 231.10 <br /> ft. ; th N 7°56'52' W for 154.39 ft. to the N line of <br /> said Govt. Lot 1; th N 89°11 '14" E along the N line of <br /> said Govt. Lot 1 for 1006.37 ft. to the NE corner of <br /> said Section 1; thence S 1°13'30" E along the E line of <br /> said Govt. Lot 1 for 744.80 ft. to the true point of <br /> beginning. This includes the platted property in the <br /> Plat of Highland Farms No. 2 and the unplatted property <br /> included in the above description. <br /> The following described land is hereby zoned as <br /> RESIDENTIAL 2: <br /> Lots 1 to 17, inc. , Blk. 3; Lots 1 to 4, inc. , Blk. 4; <br /> the W half Blk. 5 and Lots 1 to 16, inc. , Blk. 6; all <br /> of Blk. 7, Blk. 9 and Blk. 10, Plat of Beverly Hills <br /> Addition Division No. 4.
