c. + • ORDINANCE NO. 3687 AN ORDINANCE amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett entitled: An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings and land within the City of Everett; limiting the heighth of buildings; pre- scribing building lines and size of yard and other open spaces; providing for the division of the city into use zones; creating a Board of Adjustment; and providing for penalties for violation of the ordinance. WHEREAS, there has been annexed to the City of Everett certain territory hereinafter described since the adoption of the above described zoning ordinance, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Everett has held a hearing as required by law for the zoning of the annexed territory and recommended to the City Council of the City of Everett the zoning of said annexed territory, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set forth are for the best interests of the City and in harmony with the compre- hensive plan of land use for the city. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby amend the zone map of the City of Everett, also designated as use map of the City of Everett, as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572 as above outlined, to include the zoning of territory annexed to the City of Everett since the adoption of said ordinance as follows : The following described land is hereby zoned as RESIDENTIAL 1: Plat of Highland Farms. Also beginning at the SE corner of Govt. Lot 1, Section 1, T 28 N, R 4 EWM; thence S 88°181 W alono. the S line of said Govt. Lot 1 for 664.37 ft. ; th N lgl3 ' 30" W for 126.50 ft. ; th N 54°20'05" W for 132.22 ft. ; thence N 38°40'07" W for 231.09 ft. ; th N 20°51'52" W for 231.10 ft. ; th N 7°56'52' W for 154.39 ft. to the N line of said Govt. Lot 1; th N 89°11 '14" E along the N line of said Govt. Lot 1 for 1006.37 ft. to the NE corner of said Section 1; thence S 1°13'30" E along the E line of said Govt. Lot 1 for 744.80 ft. to the true point of beginning. This includes the platted property in the Plat of Highland Farms No. 2 and the unplatted property included in the above description. The following described land is hereby zoned as RESIDENTIAL 2: Lots 1 to 17, inc. , Blk. 3; Lots 1 to 4, inc. , Blk. 4; the W half Blk. 5 and Lots 1 to 16, inc. , Blk. 6; all of Blk. 7, Blk. 9 and Blk. 10, Plat of Beverly Hills Addition Division No. 4.
