ORDINANCE NO. 3685 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of: EIGHTEENTH ST. FROM BROADWAY TO McDOUGALL AVE. by paving the same with a forty foot portland cement concrete pavement and including as a part of said work the construction or reconstruction of concrete sidewalks and driveways where necessary, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary, by providing the necessary surface drainage and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution No. 6064 of the City of Everett; creating a local improvement district; creating a local improvement district fund therefor; and providing for the payment of said improvement by special assessments on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6064 of the City of Everett, the City Council has declared its intention to order the improve- ment as above outlined and doing all work in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Everett, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That an improvement be made of Eighteenth St. from Broadway to McDougall Ave. by paving the same with a forty foot portland cement concrete pavement and including as a part of said work the construction or reconstruction of concrete side- walks and driveways, where necessary; by such grading or regrading as may be necessary; by providing the necessary surface drainage and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all according to the plans and specifications of the City Engineer and which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expenses of such improvement, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement, except as provided by Chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto and the ordinances of the City of Everett. Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improvement district to be known as "Local Improvement District No. 650 ", which district shall include the following described property located in Everett, Snohomish County, Washing- ton, to-wit: Lots 9 to 24, inc. , Block 352, Plat of Everett, Div. "N" . Lots 1 to 8, inc. , and Lots 25 to 32, inc. , Block 363, Plat of Everett, Div. "N" .
