I r _ ORDINANCE NO, 3671 AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 7 and 30 of Ordinance No. 3645 entitled: An Ordinance fixing and determining the number of the various officers, assistants, deputies and employees of the City of Everett; prescribing the duties of such officers, assistants, deputies and employees; fixing their salaries; providing for medical services; repealing Ordinance No. 3581 of the City of Everett; and declaring this ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 1958 providing for the elimination of the position of Foreman and the position of Zookeeper in the Park Department and creating two additional positions of Gardener in the Park Department. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 3645 is hereby amended to read as follows : Section 7: PARK DEPARTMENT There shall be in the office of the Park Department the following named officers and assistants, to-wit: One Superintendent, one Assistant Superintendent, three Gardeners, two Utility Laborers, one Secretary (part time) , one Greenskeeper, and one or more Day Laborers (part time) . The Park Department and its Superintendent shall be under the general charge and supervision of the Park Board. The other assistants and employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the Park Superintendent. Section 2: That Section 30 of Ordinance No. 3645 is hereby amended to read as follows : Section 30: PARK DEPARTMENT Superintendent '441.00 per mo. Assistant Superintendent ' 383.50 per mo. Gardeners 373.00 per mo. Greenskeeper 373.00 per mo. Secretary (part time) not over 35.00 per mo. Utility Laborers 367.50 per mo.
