ORDINANCE NO. 3651 <br /> AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property to the City of <br /> Everett in compliance with Chapter 128 of the laws of the State <br /> of Washington, 1945. <br /> WHEREAS, a petition in writing signed by the owners <br /> of more than seventy-five percent (75%) in value according to <br /> the assessed valuation for general taxation of the property for <br /> which annexation was petitioned, which petition set forth a <br /> description of the property according to governmental legal sub- <br /> divisions and legal plats, and which petition was accompanied <br /> by a plat and drawing which outlined the boundaries of the <br /> property sought to be annexed, has been filed with the City <br /> Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, did fix the 27th day of November, 1957, <br /> for hearing upon said petition and caused notice of hearing to <br /> be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a news- <br /> paper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice <br /> also to be posted in three (3) places within the territory <br /> proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted <br /> specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested <br /> persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the <br /> annexation, and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of <br /> Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all <br /> of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set <br /> forth, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That the property hereinafter described <br /> be, and the same is hereby annexed on the 1st day of 'e1i:azy , <br /> 1958 to Everett, a municipal corporation: <br /> Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 4, Blk. 3 in <br /> Beverly Hills Div. No. 4, Snohomish County, Wash. ; th <br /> west along the south line of Lot 4 and the south line <br /> of Lot 4 produced westerly to an intersection with the <br /> west line of Fleming Street as now platted; th northerly <br /> along the west line of Fleming Street to the north line <br /> of Beverly Hills Div. No. 4, which line is also the <br /> southerly limits of the City of Everett; th west along <br /> said City limit line to an intersection with the west <br /> line of Lot J7, Plat of Fairview Heights Div, No. 2 <br /> produced northerly; th southerly along the west line of <br /> said Lot 37 and its production northerly for 273.77 ft. ; <br /> th angle right 52°32 ' 30" for 430 ft. , ml, to the center <br /> line of Pigeon Creek No. 1; th southeasterly along the <br /> center line of Pigeon. Creek No. 1 and the southwesterly <br /> boundaries of Lots 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 in Plat <br /> of Fairview Heights Div. No. 2 to an intersection with <br /> the westerly boundary of Monson Addition; th southerly <br /> along the westerly boundary of said Monson Addition to <br /> the southwest corner thereof; thence easterly along the <br /> south line of Lots 13 and 14 in Monson Add. to an <br /> intersection with the southerly production of the west <br /> line of Lot 12 in said Addition defined on the plat as <br /> a private road; th southerly along the west line of a <br /> private road for 55. 6 feet to the northwest corner of <br /> Lot 37, Blk. 7 in Beverly Hills Div. No. 4; th follow- <br /> ing in a southerly direction the westerly boundaries of <br /> Lots 20-37, inc . Beverly Hills Div. No. 4 and their <br />
