a t ORDINANCE NO. 3639 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3211 of the City of Everett entitled: AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel, transportation and pedestrians and their incidents upon the streets, alleys and public ways of Everett, a municipal corporation; prescribing the rules of road for vehicular, pedestrian and other traffic upon such streets, alleys and public ways; prescribing the powers and duties of the officers and other persons in relation thereto; defining offenses, providing penalties, adopt- ing certain portions of the motor vehicle laws of the State of Washington and existing amendments thereto; and repealing ordinance numbers 2318, 2734, 150, 2348, 2522 and 2612, all relating to traffic. by adding thereto Section 189. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 : That Ordinance No. 3211 of the City of Everett be, and it is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 189 as follows : Section 189: Any person whose operator ' s license or other privilege to operate a motor vehicle has been suspended or revoked and restoration thereof or issuance of new license is contingent upon the fur- nishing of proof of ability to respond in damages and who during such suspension or revocation or, in the absence of full authorization from the Director of Licenses of the State of Washington, drives a motor vehicle upon any public street, highway or alley of the City of Everett, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment in the city jail for not less than two days nor more than ninety days, and there may be imposed in addition thereto a fine not exceeding the sum of $300.00. nr v 0 R Attest: i2P4(ui t, • l e Passed: AUG 27 1957 Published: AUG 28 1957
