P { NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 : That an improvement be made of: (A) HOYT AVENUE from Pacific Ave . to Hewitt Ave. and from California St. to Everett Ave. COLBY AVENUE from Pacific Ave . to Wall St. and from 26th St. to 24th St. WETMORE AVENUE from California St. to Everett Ave. WALL STREET from Colby Ave . to Wetmore Ave . CALIFORNIA STREET from Hoyt Ave . to Rockefeller Ave. on the south side only. By the installation of a Mercury Vapor •Street Electric Lighting System. Said System to include new metal poles, concrete foundations and underground wiring and including all incidental material and work necessary for a complete improvement. (B) COLBY AVENUE from Wall St. to 26th St. HEWITT AVENUE from Hoyt Ave. to Wetmore Ave. By the installation of a Mercury Vapor Street Electric Lighting System. Said System to include new metal poles on all existing concrete foundations and under- ground wiring and including all incidental material and work necessary for a complete improvement. (C) WETMORE AVENUE from Hewitt Ave. to California St. WALL STREET from Hoyt Ave . to Colby Ave . By the installation of a Mercury Vapor Street Electric Lighting System. Said System to include new metal poles on alternate existing concrete foundations, or equal, and underground wiring, and including all in- cidental material and work necessary for a complete improvement. (D) CALIFORNIA STREET from Hoyt Ave. to Rockefeller Ave. on the north side only. By the installation of a Mercury Vapor Street Electric Lighting System. Said System to include mounting lights on existing wood poles and overhead wiring, and including all incidental material and work necessary for a .complete improvement. All according to the plans and specifications of the City Engineer and which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2 : . That the cost and expenses of such improvement, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement, except as provided by Chapter 141, L.:1� Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto and the ordin- ances of the City of Everett.
