ORDINANCE NO. 3604 <br /> 1 <br /> AN ORDINANCE prohibiting the hanging or suspending of <br /> banners, signs or decorations across the public streets and <br /> thoroughfares of the City of Everett, except at the celebration of <br /> the 4th of July and Christmas, and then only when licensed by the <br /> City Council. <br /> N0W, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : It shall be unlawful for any person to hang <br /> or suspend any sign, banner or decoration of any kind over or <br /> across any public street or thoroughfare of the City of Everett, <br /> except at the celebration of the 4th of July and Christmas, and <br /> then only when licensed by the City Council. ' <br /> Section 2: Any person desiring to hang or suspend any <br /> sign, banner or decoration of any kind over or across the public <br /> streets or thoroughfares of the City of Everett at the celebration <br /> of the 4th of July and Christmas as provided in Section 1 hereof, <br /> shall make application to the City Council of the City of Everett j <br /> for a license and shall furnish to the City of Everett a bond in <br /> the sum of $5000.O0 conditioned that he will save harmless the <br /> City of Everett from any and all claims arising out of his acts in 5 <br /> connection with said permit.
