ORDINANCE NO. 3589 AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 640 for the improvement of: 8th Street from Delaware Avenue to Wilmington Avenue by the construction of a concrete sidewalk and concrete curbs and gutters on the south side of the street only, and Wilmington Avenue from 48th St. to 50th St. by the construction of a concrete sidewalk and concrete curb and gutters on the east side of the street only; by such grading and regrading as may be necessary, by the installation of necessary drainage or the removal and replacement of existing drainage and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with a majority petition therefor, and all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3555 of the City of Everett, levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land or other property as shown on said roll, providing for the issuance of bonds therefor, and fixing the date of issue thereof. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 : That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 640 for the improvement of : 48th Street from Delaware Avenue to Wilmington Avenue by the construction of a concrete sidewalk and concrete curbs and gutters on the south side of the street only, and Wilmington Avenue from 48th St. to 50th St. by the construction of a concrete sidewalk and concrete curb and gutters on the east side ofthe street only; by such grading and regrading as may be necessary, by the installation of necessary drainage or the removal and replacement of existing drainage and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with a majority petition therefor, and all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3555 of the City of Everett, as the same now stands, be, and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially benefitted by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment against said lot, tract and parcel of land, or other property appearing on said roll in the amount finally charged against the same . Section 3 : That the 5th day of February , 1957 is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds re- quired to be issued on account of such improvement.
