DECLARATION OF PURPOSE: <br /> The purpose and function of the C-2 Zone is to provide for and protect certain <br /> areas of the City for heavy commercial and light manufacturing purposes. <br /> B. PERIITTED USES: <br /> 1. R.-2 Permitted Uses with R-2 standards. <br /> 2. R-4 Permitted Uses with R-4 standards <br /> 3. B-3 Permitted Uses <br /> 4. C-1 Permitted Uses <br /> 5. Auto wrecking yards with sight obscuring fence. <br /> 6. Public transportation system terminals. <br /> 7. Bottling works for soft drinks only. <br /> 8. Dyeing and dry cleaning plants. <br /> 9. Launderies. <br /> 10. Machine shops.. <br /> 11. Furniture manufacturing and repair. <br /> 12. Blacksmith, welding and metal fabricating shops. <br /> 13. Commercial and wholesale bakeries. <br /> 14. Boat building. <br /> 15. Sheet metal shops. <br /> 16. Tinsmiths. <br /> 17. Printing and publishing establishments. <br /> 18. Cereal mills. <br /> 19. Flour or feedmill <br /> 20. Grain elevators. <br /> 21. Stone monument works. <br /> 22. Junk yards with sight obscuring; fences. <br /> 23 Manufacturing, compounding, processing, packaging, or treatment of such <br /> products as bakery goods, candy, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, toiletries, <br /> and food products. <br /> 24. ianufacturing of articles or merchandising from the following previously <br /> prepared materials; bone, canvas, cellophane, cloth, cork, feathers, <br /> plastics, precious or semi-precious metals or stones, sheet metal no <br /> heavier than 14 guage, shell, textiles, tobacco, wax, wire, wood, or yarns. <br /> -25. Manufacturing of musical instruments, toys, novelties, rubber or metal <br /> stamps, or other small moulded rubber products. <br /> 26. Manufacturing or assembling of electrical appliances, electronic instru- <br /> ments and devices, radios, and phonographs. <br /> 27. Special Property Uses (See Soc. 5) <br /> C . MINIMA LOT SIZE AND WIDTH: <br /> No lot size or width required for non-residential permitted uses. No lot for <br /> any residential use shall be less than 5000 sq. ft. in area nor less than 50 <br /> ft. in width. There shall be provided no less than 750 sq. ft. for each resi- <br /> dential dwelling unit. <br /> D. GROSS FLOOR AREA Rf;TIO <br /> No gross floor area ratio required for non-residential permitted uses. For <br /> residential permitted uses, there shall be a maximum gross floor area ratio <br /> of .75. <br />
