ORDINANCE NO. 3559 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the following! described portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to-wit: .r- Begin at the intersection of the west marginal line of Grand Ave. , as vacated by Ordinance 2,490, with the S marginal line. of 35th St. in the Plat of Friday' s 2nd Add. , Everett, Wash. ; thence Sly along said W marginal line of Grand Ave. for 314. 65 ft. , m/l, to a point of intersection with the center line of vacated Park St. ; th Ely and parallel to the N line of 36th St. as platted in Elk. 4 of said Plat of Friday's 2nd Add. , to the E marginal line of said Grand Ave . as vacated in Ordinance '2490; thence Nly along said E marginal line of Grand Ave. to its point of intersection with the S marginal line of 35th St. ; thence Wly 60 ft. to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the pri- vate property abutting upon the portion of street and alley above described have duly filed their petition with the City Council of Everett praying for the vacation of said portion of street and alley, and WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did by resolution duly adopted:, fiX the°• l8th day of June, 1956, at 10:00 o 'clock A.M. of said day for the hearing and determination of said petition, and WHEREAS, due .and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the City Clerk in the manner required by law, and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing object- ions to the vacating of the herein described portion of street and alley were heard and discussed, and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council that said petition should be granted subject to certain reservations and exceptions and said City Council does hereby determine to vacate the above described portion of said street and alley subject to certain reservations and exceptions, • NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, des- cribed as follows, to-wit: Begin at the intersection of the west marginal line of Grand Ave . , as vacated by Ordinance '2490, with the S marginal line of 35th St. in the Plat . of Friday' s 2nd Add. , Everett, Wash. ; thence Sly along said W marginal line of Grand Ave. for 314.65 ft. , m/1, to a point of intersection with the center line of vacated Park St. ; th Ely and parallel to the N line of >6thiSt. as platted in Blk. 4 of said Plat of Friday's 2nd Add. , to the E marginal line of said Grand Ave . as vacated in Ordinance #2490; thence N1:y along said E marginal line of Grand Ave . to its point of intersection with the S marginal line of 35th St. , thence Wly 60 ft. to the point of beginning.
