,. mac. • w �w <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3523 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3505 of the L'ity of <br /> Everett entitled: <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the extension to the City <br /> Employees of the City of Everett covered by the <br /> State Employees Retirement System the benefit of Old <br /> Age and survivor Insurance as provided by the Social <br /> Security Act of the United Mates effective as of <br /> January 1, 1955; declaring an emergency; and <br /> allocating funds to cover costs of participation by <br /> the City of Everett <br /> oy adding thereto Section .6 and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> NO ,, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Ordinance No. 3505 of the City of <br /> Everett is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 6 as follows: <br /> Section 6: The City of Everett does further hereby <br /> adopt the plan for extension of O.A.S.I. coverage to <br /> members of the State Employees Retirement System as <br /> adopted by the State Employees Retirement Board <br /> August 1, 1955 and approved by the Governor of the State <br /> of 4ashington on August 16, 1955. }} <br /> Section 2: That an emergency is hereby declared to <br /> exist and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and <br /> publication. <br /> M a y <br /> Attest: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: Aug. 30, 1955 <br /> Published: Aug. 31, 1955 <br />
