• 4 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1;"4 <br /> AN ORDINANCE establishing the position of Battalion Chief <br /> in the Fire Department of the City of Everett; providing that the <br /> position of Assistant Chief of the Fire Department be changed to <br /> Battalion Chief. <br /> N0 4, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOi S ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the position of Battalion Chief is <br /> hereby created in the Fire Department of the City of Everett for <br /> the balance of the year 1955. <br /> Section 2: That the position of Assistant Chief as <br /> provided for in Section 14 of Ordinance No. 3942 is hereby merged <br /> into and shall be known as Battalion Chief. <br /> Section 3: That there shall be three Battalion Chiefs <br /> in the Fire Department who shall draw a salary heretofore provided <br /> for Assistant Chief for the balance of the year 1955. <br /> Section 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances <br /> in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed. <br /> 81(j74 -/ <br /> Attest: <br /> City Cldrk , <br /> s3 <br /> Passed: T,Inp 'R, 1955 <br /> Published: H 29, 1955 <br /> 1 <br />
