ORDINANCE NO. SnQ AN ORDINANCE declaring Lots 23, 24, 25 and 26, Block 664, Plat of Everett, belonging to the Everett water system as sur- plus property and incidental only to the Everett water system and not now nor in the future necessary for the operation of the city water system, and providing for its sale; and declaring an emergency to exist. WHEREAS, the City of Everett secured Lots 23, 24, 25 and 26, Block 664, Plat of Everett, as part of the water system of the City of Everett, and 'HEREAS, said property has become surplus property and incident only to the Everett water system and is not now and will not in the future be necessary for the operation of the water system of the City of Everett, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the above described property be, and it is hereby declared to be surplus property of the water system of the City of Everett and not now nor in the future necessary for the operation of the ::tner2:sysTh7t of the City of Everett. Sect it is for the best interests of the City of Everett and the water system of the City of Everett that said property be sold for cash. Section 3: That an offer of va8,500.00 cash has been received for the purchase of the above described property from the Everett Trades Building Association, which offer is fair and reason- able, and it is for the best interests of the City of Everett to accept said offer. Section 4: That the 'ity of Everett for and in consid- eration of the payment of ; 18,500.00 shall sell and convey the above described property to the Everett Trades Building Association.
