r,� E <br /> � t <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3503 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE FIRING, DISCHARGING, EXPLOD- <br /> ING, USE, PURCHASE AND SALE OF FIRECRACKERS AND OTHER POWDER <br /> EXPLOSIVES AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2525 <br /> i�y� c- AND <br /> ORDINANCE <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or <br /> corporation to fire, discharge , explode, use, purchase, sell or <br /> offer for sale any squib, firecracker, torpedo, sky rocket , roman <br /> candle , pinwheel, dynamite cane or other fireworks or powder <br /> explosive which contain black powder, chlorate of potash, aluminum <br /> powder or other explosive substances within the city limits of the <br /> City of Everett , provided, however, that this limitation shall not <br /> apply (a) to the keeping of the same by jobbers or wholesalers for <br /> use or sale outside the city limits of the City of Everett, under <br /> regulations prescribed by the Fire Chief of the City of Everett ; <br /> (b) to display of fireworks and to sale of fireworks for display <br /> for public purposes or public occasions under the supervision of <br /> the Fire Chief of the City of Everett; (c) to the use or sale of <br /> sparklers and cap pistols provided the caps are not contained in <br /> a cartridge or container of like nature. <br /> Section 2: Any person, firm, corporation or other <br /> association of persons convicted of any violation of this ordinance, <br /> k shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not to exceed <br /> I' a00.00 or by imprisonment in the City Jail of not to exceed <br /> thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> Section 3 : That Ordinance No. 2525 be and the same is <br /> hereby repealed. <br /> Attest : <br /> `City ler <br /> gassed: Mar. 22, 1955 <br /> 1 Published: " 25, 1955 <br /> 3 <br />
