. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3500 <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and <br /> assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 631 for the im- <br /> provement of: <br /> T4ENTY-SIXTH STREET from Colby Ave. to Broadway <br /> by paving the same with a portland cement concrete pavement and in- <br /> cluding as a part of such work the construction or reconstruction <br /> of all sewers, side sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary <br /> appurtenances, the construction or reconstruction of concrete side- <br /> walks as may be necessary and doing such other work as may be <br /> necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with hesolution <br /> No. 5744 of the City of hverett, under Ordinance No. 3472 of the <br /> City of Everett, levying an assessment on account thereof against <br /> the several lots, tracts and parcels of land or other property as <br /> shown on said roll, providing for the issuance of bonds therefor, <br /> and fixing the date of issue thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVLRETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local <br /> 1 Improvement District No. 631 for the improvement of: <br /> TWENTY--SIXTH STREET from Colby Ave. to Broadway <br /> by paving the same with a portland cement concrete pavement and in- <br /> cluding as a part of such work the construction or reconstruction <br /> of all sewers, side sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary <br /> appurtenances, the construction or reconstruction of concrete side- <br /> walks as may be necessary and doing such other work as may be <br /> necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution <br /> No. 5744, under Ordinance No. 3472 of the City of Everett, as the <br /> same now stands, be, and the same is hereby in all things approved <br /> and confirmed. <br /> Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of <br /> land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially <br /> benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged <br /> against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment <br /> against said lot, tract and parcel of land, or other property appear- <br /> ing on said roll in the amount finally charged against the same. <br /> Section 3: That the 20th day of April , 1955, is <br /> hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required to <br /> be issued on account of such improvement. <br /> Section 4: That the sum charged against each lot, tract <br /> and parcel of land and other property, or any portion of such sum, <br /> may be paid during the thirty-day period following the date of first <br /> publication by the Treasurer that such assessment has been placed <br /> in his hands for collection. <br /> Section 5: That the City of Everett may sell said bonds <br /> and make payment in cash in the manner provided by the ordinances <br /> of the said City. <br /> M a <br /> Att st: <br /> 1Jy jrAptz-- <br /> City Vier <br /> Passed: Mar. 3, 1955 <br /> Published: Mar. 4, 1955 <br />
