• _ l <br /> . <br /> Section 11: CITY TREASURER DEPART riMNT <br /> There shall be the following named deputies and assistants <br /> in the office of the City Treasurer, to-wit: <br /> One Deputy City Treasurer ; one Assistant Deputy <br /> City Treasurer (part time) ; one -rater Cashier; <br /> one or more Clerk-Bookkeepers ; one Assistant ,ater <br /> Cashier; one Clerk-Stenographer; and one or more <br /> extra Clerks (part time) . <br /> It shall be the duty of such officers, deputies and <br /> assistants to perform the duties pertaining to the office of the <br /> City Treasurer as the City Treasurer shall authorize and direct. <br /> DEPAR TvIEN T OF SAFETY <br /> Section 12: HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and assistants <br /> in the Health Department, to-wit: <br /> One health Officer (part time) ; one Deputy Health <br /> Officer (Sanitarian) ; one Senior Sanitarian (Milk) ; <br /> one Senior Sanitarian; one Meat Inspector (part <br /> time) ; one Stenographer-Clerk; one Nurse and one <br /> Bacteriologist. <br /> It shall be the duty of such officers and assistants to <br /> perform the duties pertaining to said department under the direction <br /> of the Health Officer and the Commissionrof Safety. <br /> Section 13: POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and assistants <br /> in the Police Department, to-wit: <br /> One Chief of Police; four Captains ; one Supt. Bureau <br /> of Identification; one Asst. Supt. Bureau of <br /> Identification; Thirteen Sergeants; twenty-seven <br /> Patrolmen First Class; Two Patrolmen Second Class; <br /> is one Policewoman First Class ; one Maintenance <br /> , echanic; and two Clerk-Stenographers. <br /> It shall be the duty of the officers and assistants in said <br /> Police Department to perform the duties indicated by the name of <br /> their employment, and such other duties as the Chief of Police or <br /> Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct. <br /> Section 14: FIRE DEPARTI,IENT <br /> There shall be the following nailed officers and assistants <br /> in the Fire Department, to-wit: <br /> Assistant Chiefs; Supt.One• Chief• threeone Su Fire <br /> and Police Signals; one tissistant Supt. t''ire and <br /> i Police Signals; one mire 'varshal; one Master <br /> Mechanic ; one Captain and Drillmaster ; fifteen <br /> Captains; one Assistant Fire Marshal; two Fire <br /> and Police Signal Technicians ; one Chief Fire <br /> Alarm Operator; three Fire Alarm Operators; <br /> thirty-eight Senior Pipemen; Four Junior Pipe- <br /> men. <br /> -3- <br />
