' 'HREAS, the expenditures in the Paint Department for paint and supplies, and the expenditures in the Inspection Department for 11 printing and stationery, and the costs of conducting a census and running tvo special elections, and the expenditures in the Park Department for wages and salaries will be in excess of the amount 1 planned and budgeted for the year 1954, and If WHEREAS, such expenditures could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1954, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN. Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and there is hereby allocated to the following departments the following sums, to-wit: Paint Department Paint and supplies 1 250.00 Inspection Department Printing and stationery 200.00 Miscellaneous Department Elections. . 2000.00 Census 3000.00 Park Department Salaries and wages . . 1100.00 6550.00 which shall be in addition to that amount set forth in the budget for the year 1954.
