Y <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3472 <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of: <br /> TWENTY-SIXTH STREET from Colby Ave. to Broadway by <br /> paving the same with a portland cement concrete <br /> pavement and including as a part of such work the <br /> construction or reconstruction of all sewers, side <br /> sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary <br /> appurtenances, the construction or reconstruction of <br /> concrete sidewalks where necessary, by such grading <br /> or regrading as may be necessary and doing such <br /> other work as may be necessary in connection there- <br /> with. <br /> all in accordance with Resolution No. 5744 of the L'ity of Everett; <br /> creating a local improvement district; creating a local improvement <br /> district fund therefor; and providing for the payment of said <br /> improvement by special assessment on the property in said district <br /> under the mode of payment by bonds. <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5744 of the City of Everett, <br /> the City Council has declared its intention to order the improve- <br /> ment as above out ned, and doing all work in connection therewith <br /> to make a comple improvement in accordance with the plans and <br /> specifications s prepared by the City -ngineer of the City of <br /> Everett, <br /> NOW, TRyREFORE, THE CITY OF EVEREi'T DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an improvement be made of: <br /> TWENTY-SIXTH STREET from Colby eve. to Broadway by <br /> paving the same with a portland cement concrete <br /> pavement and including as a part of such work the <br /> construction or reconstruction of all sewers, side <br /> sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary <br /> appurtenances, the construction or reconstruction of <br /> concrete sidewalks where necessary, by such grading <br /> or regrading as may be necessary and doing such <br /> other work as may be necessary in connection there- <br /> with. <br /> all according to the plans and specifications of the City Engineer <br /> and which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expenses of such improve- <br /> ment, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne <br /> by and assessed against the property included in the assessment <br /> district herein created in accordance with law. The City of <br /> Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the <br /> costs and expenses of such improvement, except as provided by <br /> Chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto and <br /> the ordinances of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 3: What there is hereby established a local im- <br /> prp l yemene district to be known as `Local Improvement district No. <br /> , Which district shall include the following described <br /> property located in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington, to-wit : <br />
