Y ORDINANCE NO. 3472 AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of: TWENTY-SIXTH STREET from Colby Ave. to Broadway by paving the same with a portland cement concrete pavement and including as a part of such work the construction or reconstruction of all sewers, side sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary appurtenances, the construction or reconstruction of concrete sidewalks where necessary, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection there- with. all in accordance with Resolution No. 5744 of the L'ity of Everett; creating a local improvement district; creating a local improvement district fund therefor; and providing for the payment of said improvement by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5744 of the City of Everett, the City Council has declared its intention to order the improve- ment as above out ned, and doing all work in connection therewith to make a comple improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications s prepared by the City -ngineer of the City of Everett, NOW, TRyREFORE, THE CITY OF EVEREi'T DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That an improvement be made of: TWENTY-SIXTH STREET from Colby eve. to Broadway by paving the same with a portland cement concrete pavement and including as a part of such work the construction or reconstruction of all sewers, side sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary appurtenances, the construction or reconstruction of concrete sidewalks where necessary, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection there- with. all according to the plans and specifications of the City Engineer and which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expenses of such improve- ment, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement, except as provided by Chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto and the ordinances of the City of Everett. Section 3: What there is hereby established a local im- prp l yemene district to be known as `Local Improvement district No. , Which district shall include the following described property located in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington, to-wit :
