<br /> i AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 146 and 146 A of Ordin-
<br /> ance No. 2513 of the City of Everett entitled:
<br /> li
<br /> An Ordinance relating to, and providing for, the
<br /> 1licensing and regulating of certain occupations,
<br /> 4 businesses, vocations, trades, callings, amusements,
<br /> places of amusements exhibitions, entertainments,
<br /> i animals, motor vehicles, places and establishments;
<br /> is defining offenses, providing penalties ; providing for
<br /> the revocation and suspension of licenses; repealing
<br /> it Ordinances No. 2196, 853, 1301, 1503, 1583, 1585,
<br /> 1595, 1598, 1771, 1851, 1932, 1941, 1948, 1964, 2087,
<br /> 2182, 2249, 2333, 2370 and 2038, and all other
<br /> i ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict there-
<br /> 11 with.

<br /> Ii NO-i, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That Section 146 of Ordinance No. 2513 be,
<br /> ' and it is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> h
<br /> li Section 146: All pawnbrokers, second hand dealers
<br /> and junk dealers shall upon the making of a purchase
<br /> I or the acceptance of an article for pawn, immediately
<br /> fill out a report of said purchase or pawn on blank
<br /> forms to be furnished by the City of Everett, giving
<br /> l the description of all articles received by way of
<br /> s purchase or pledge, together with the number of ticket
<br /> in case of pledge issued thereon; the amount of the
<br /> E loan; the name; the residence and description of the
<br /> person making the sale or pledge; together with
<br /> their signature and such other and further information
<br /> as the City may require.
<br /> A copy of this report shall be furnished and
<br /> delivered to the Chief of Police, or his designated
<br /> subordinate, at the City Hall within twenty-four (24)
<br /> hours of purchase, pawn or pledge. The remaining
<br /> ! copy shall be kept by the licensee for a period of
<br /> not less than six (6) months.
<br /> Section 2: That Section 146 A of Ordinance No. 2513 be,
<br /> and it is hereby amended to read as follows :
<br /> Section 146A: No second hand dealer or junk
<br /> s dealer shall sell or dispose of or remove from the
<br /> City of Everett, -�ashington, any junk or second hand
<br /> I` goods purchased or received from any person for a
<br /> period of three (3) working days from the acceptance
<br /> or purchase of said second hand goods or junk, in
<br /> order that the Police Department of the City of
<br /> Everett may make an appropriate examination of the
<br /> source of purchase.
