Section 6: CITY POUND DEPARTMENT (Sub-division of Police Department) • The City Pound Department is and shall be a sub-division I of the Police Department as provided by Ordinance No. 3197. There shall be in the City Pound Department One Pound- master and one Assistant Pound Master. • Such officer, and assistant, shall perform such duties as Ipertain to the nature of their office, and as the Chief of Police and the Commissioner of Safety shall authorize and direct. 6 Section 7: POLICE COURT DEPARTMENT There shall be in the Police Court Department the folloe.- ing named officers, to-wit: 1 One Clerk of the Court (part time), who shall per- form the duties pertaining to his office* Section 8: PARK DEPARTMENT There shall be in the office of the Park Department the I following named officers and assistants, to-wit: II One Superintendent; one Assistant Superintendent; one Foreman; two Gardnnders; two Utility Laborers; one Secretary (part time) ; one Zookeeper; one Greenskeeper; and one or more Day Laborers (part time). E` The Park Department and its superintendent shall be under the general charge and supervision of the Park Board. The other assistants and employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the Park 0Superintendent. DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE Ii Section 9: CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT There shall be the following named deputies and assistants in the office of the City Clerk, to-wit p to-wit: I/ One Deputy City Clerk; one Stenographer; one or more extra Clerks (part time) ; one Clerk (part time) ; one License & Tax Accountants It shall be the duty of such officers, deputies and assistants to perform the duties pertaining to the office of the City s Clerk under the authority and direction of the City Clerk. Section 10: CITY COMMISSIONERS DEPARTMENT There shall be the following named assistants in the City Commissioners Department, to-wit: One stenographer (part time) ; one Relief stenographer (part time).
