• • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3435 <br /> 19 <br /> AN ORDINANCE :JT ENDIITG SECTION 15 OIL ORDINANCE NO. 3292 OF <br /> T.H_E CITY OF EVERETT ENTITLED: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to and providing for the ex- <br /> traction and collection of a license upon the act <br /> and/or privilege of engaging in certain business <br /> activities, occupations, pursuits and privileges; <br /> providing the necessary administrative machinery <br /> for the collection and enforcement of the licenses <br /> hereunder and declaring certain acts in connection <br /> therewith unlawful; and providing penalties; <br /> repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances <br /> in conflict herewith except Ordinance No. 2711 <br /> and Ordinance No. 3272. <br /> NOa , THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 15 of Ordinance No. 3292 is here- <br /> by amended to rea7—as follows: <br /> EXTENSION Section 15: EXTENSION OF TIME: The Clerk for <br /> OF TIME good cause shown may extend the <br /> time for making and filing any <br /> return as required under this ordinance, and <br /> may grant such reasonable additional time with- <br /> in which to file such return as he may deem <br /> proper. Provided, that any extension in excess <br /> of 30 days shall be conditioned upon payment <br /> of interest of 1/2 of 1 a for each 30 days or <br /> portion thereof on the amount of the tax from <br /> the date upon which said tax becomes due, If <br /> tax return and/or payment are not received <br /> within 10 days of due date a penalty must be <br /> included as follows: If 11 to 40 days delin- <br /> quent, 10% of the tax with a minimum penalty <br /> of 91.00.
