ORDINANCE NO. 3430 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMiENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3197 OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT ENTITLED: <br /> An Ordinance providing for the licensing of all dogs <br /> within the corporate limits of the City of Everett; <br /> prohibiting dogs from running at large within the <br /> corporate limits of the City of Everett during certain <br /> periods of time and under certain conditions; pro- <br /> hibiting horses, cows, calves, colts, goats or kids, <br /> or any other domestic animal, from running at large or <br /> being pastured or staked out in the City of Everett, <br /> except as otherwise provided; authorizing the impound- <br /> ing and destruction of dogs and domestic animals; <br /> creating office of pound master; providing for appoint- <br /> ment of pound master; providing a penalty, and repeal- <br /> ing Ordinance No. 1603 and section 79 through 91, <br /> Ordinance. No. 2513, and all other ordinances or parts <br /> of ordinances in conflict therewith. <br /> BY ADDING THER2O SECTION 22. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Ordinance No. 3197 of the City of <br /> Everett is amended by adding thereto Section 22 as follows: <br /> Section 22: All licenses provided in this ordinance <br /> shall expire on December 31st of each year. <br /> The fee for all licenses issued after <br /> July 1st of each year may be reduced by one-half upon <br /> evidence that said animals to be licensed were not <br /> subject to the licensing provisions of this ordinance <br /> prior to July 1st. <br /> 71 <br /> Mayo r <br /> Attest: <br /> City lark; ` <br /> Passed: September 22, 1953 <br /> Published: September 23, 19S3 <br />
