1 3i e 11 11 11 ORDINANCE NO. 3417. 11 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3320 {i OF THE CITY OF EVERETT ENTITLED: t4 1 "An Ordinance granting a franchise to the Everett �' City Lines, Inc. , a Washington corporation, its successors and assigns, for the establishment, maintenance and operation of a motor bus trans- portation system in the City of Everett, for the a transportation for hire of passengers as a common carrier�� and fixing the terms and conditions ' of such grant. WHEREAS, the operation of the Everett City Lines, Inc. , a li corporation, has expanded to such an extent that it is now operating` both within and outside the City Limits of the City of Everett, and d '.'JHEREAS, a situation now exists whereby it is difficult to ascertain the compensation to be fixed based on gross revenues, i and fi Is 1 HERLAS, it would be more feasible to establish said compensation to be paid to the City of Everett based upon a fee as relates to per bus mile traveled within tie City Limits of the City 11 q of Everett, + 1 NOvil, THERE 31,E, THE CITY Olt EVE CETT DOES ORDAIN:li y Section 1: That uection 11 of Ordinance No. 3320 of the 11 City of Everett is hereby amended to read as follows: 1 Section 11: The company will compensate the City of SPECIAL Everett for the granting of this franchise } TAXES by paying to the City of Everett a sum equal to two mills per bus mile traveled ,` within the City Limits of the City of Everett.
