S. <br /> =INANCE NC. 3405 <br /> AN OnDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and <br /> assessment roll of Local Improvement District Jo. 623 for the im- <br /> provement of Thirteenth street from Vvetmore Avenue to 3roadway by <br /> paving the same with a thirty-six (36) foot portland cement concrete <br /> pavement and including as a part of said work the construction or <br /> reconstruction of concrete sidewalks where necessary, by such grading <br /> or regrading as may be necessary, by providing the necessary <br /> drainage and by doing such other work as may be necessary in con- <br /> nection therewith to make a complete improvement, in accordance with <br /> a majority petition therefor, all in accordance with Ordinance No. <br /> 3385 of the City of Lverett; levying an assessment on account <br /> thereof against the several lots, tracts aria parcels of land or <br /> other property as shown on said roll, proviainc, for the issuance of <br /> bonds therefor, and fixing the date of issue thereof. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the assessment and the assessment roll <br /> of Local Improvement District -go. 623 for the improvement of <br /> Thirteenth Street from l' etmore Avenue to Broadway by paving the same <br /> I with a thirty-six (36) foot portland cement concrete pavement and <br /> I incluaing as a part of said work Lne construction or reconstruction <br /> of concrete sidewalks where necessary, by such grading or regrading <br /> as may be necessary, by providing the necessary drainage and by <br /> i doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith <br /> to make a complete improvement, in accoreance with a majority <br /> petition therefor, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3385 of the <br /> ICity of Everett, as the same now stands, be, ane the same is hereby <br /> in all things amoroved and confirmed. <br /> Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of <br /> land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially <br /> benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against <br /> the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment against said <br /> llot, tract or parcel of land, or other property appearing on said <br /> roll in the amount finally charged against the same. <br /> Section 3: That the 2nd day of Feb. 195 3 <br /> is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required <br /> to be issued on account of said improvement. <br /> 1 <br /> Section 4: That the sum charged against each lot, tract <br /> j and parcel of land and other oroperty, or any portion of such sum <br /> may be paid during the thirty-day period following the date of <br /> first nuolication by the Treasurer that such assessment has been <br /> Placed in his hands for collection. <br /> Section 5: That the City of Everett may sell said bonds <br /> and make payments in cash in the manner provided by the ordinances <br /> of said City. <br /> / e <br /> / , /7 , 1 <br /> hayor <br /> I Atpe,st : <br /> , <br /> City Clerkf <br /> „ 1 <br /> Passed: December 9, 1952 <br /> Published: December 10, 1952 <br />
