• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3403 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOn. THE ALLOCATION OF ADDITIONAL <br /> FUNDS TO COWER UNANTICIPATED EXPENDITURES OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT. <br /> THE EX'TEsSION OF 14th STREET SEWER OUTFALL IN THE SUM OF <br /> 426 ,000.00. <br /> VVHEREAS, the expenditure of the Street Department for <br /> extension of the 14th Street sewer outfall will be in excess of the <br /> amount budgeted for said department for the year 1952, and <br /> WHEREAS, said expenditure could not have been reasonably <br /> foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1952, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency exists and the sum of <br /> 426,,000.00 is hereby allocated to the Street Department in addition <br /> to that provided for in the budget for the year 1952, for extension <br /> of 14th Street sewer outfall. <br /> Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of the <br /> Street Department Fund, not otherwise budgeted for the year 1952, <br /> the sum oD 26, 000.00, which sum shall be paid by the issuance of <br /> warrants or emergency warrants drawn by the proper officers of the <br /> City of Everett as provided by law. <br /> Mayo / <br /> Attest : <br /> }City tlerk / <br /> passed: December 2, 1952 <br /> Published: December 4, 1952 <br /> If ' <br /> I ' <br />
