' A <br /> • _ « <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3398 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 2730 OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT ENT IT LED: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to the public health and pro- <br /> viding for the inspection of animal meats intended <br /> for human consumption, regulating and licensing the <br /> preparation, handling and sale of such meats, <br /> defining offenses, and prescribing penalties for the <br /> violation thereof, <br /> by adding thereto Section 15. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Ordinance No. 2730 of the City of Everett <br /> be, and it is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 15 as follows: <br /> Section 15: It shall be unlawful for any person, <br /> firm, corporation, employee or employer, to bring into <br /> the City of Everett, whether the said person, firm, <br /> corporation, employee or employer is licensed under <br /> any of the provisions of this act or not, any fresh <br /> meat of any kind, type or description, unless the said <br /> fresh meat is in carcass form at the time it is brought <br /> into the U'ity of Everett. No fresh meat shall be cut <br /> up, mutilated, offered for sale or placed in process <br /> of curing or otherwise, until after the same has been <br /> inspected as provided by Ordinance No. 2730. It shall be <br /> unlawful for any person to remove to mutilate the marks <br /> placed upon carcasses or parts thereof indicating the <br /> 4 inspection, approval or the contamination of said car- <br /> II casses.
