W. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3395 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ALLOCATION OF ADDITIONAL <br /> FUNDS TO COVER UNANTICIPATED EXPENDITURES FOR THE WATER DEPARTMENT <br /> FOR THE YEAR 1952 AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Water Department <br /> Supplies (pipe) 90,000.00 <br /> WHEREAS, the expenditures in the Water Department for the <br /> item hereinabove set forth will be in excess of the amount budgeted <br /> for the Water Department for the year 1952, and <br /> WHEREAS, said expenditure could not have been reasonably <br /> foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1952, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist <br /> and the sum of S902000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Water <br /> Department Fund to the Water Department for supplies (pipe) . <br /> Section 2: That the proper officers of the City of Everett <br /> shall expend said fund by the issuance of warrants drawn by the <br /> proper officers of the City of Everett as provided by law. <br /> May/6r <br /> Attest: <br /> ! 1 ;;1 <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: Oct. 7, 1952 <br /> Published: Oct. 8, 1952 <br />
