• ORDINANCE NO. 3385 ! AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of Thirteenth Street from Wetmore Avenue to Broadway by paving the same with a thirty-six (36) foot portland cement concrete pavement and including as a part of said work the construction or reconstruction of con- crete sidewalks where necessary, by such gracing or regrading as may be necessary, by providing the necessary surface drainage and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith. WHEREAS, there has been heretofore filed with the City Council of the City of Everett a majority petition of the property owners petitioning for said improvement, and upon examination there- of the said City Council has found the things set forth therein to be true, and WHEREAS, the said Petition has been referred to the Commissioner of Public Works to be examined by said Commissioner and the City Engineer, and the Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the City Council all data and information required by law, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Thirteenth Street from etmore Avenue 3` to Broadway be improved by paving the same with a thirty-six (36) �i foot portland cement concrete pavement and including as a part of 3 said work the construction or reconstruction of concrete sidewalks where necessary, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary, by providing the necessary surface drainage and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete ,: improvement; all according to the plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the City g,ngineer and which plans and spec- ifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improve- ment including all necessary incidental expenses shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment dis- trict herein created in accordance vith law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement except as provided by Chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto and the ordinances of the City of Everett. Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improvement district to be known as "Local Improvement District r/ 4 No. 623 ", which district shall include the following described property located in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington, to-wit: Lots 1 to 8, inc. Blk. 230, Supplemental Plat of Church & LaMoures Add. to Everett Lots 25 to 32, inc. ilk. 230, Supplemental Plat of Church & LaMoures Add to Everett Lots 10 to 17, inc. ,Blk .239, net of Proadway Land Co.
