w 4 1 I ►• , <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3367 <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to vending machines and prohibiting <br /> the vending or sale of cigarettes, cigars, or tobacco by the use of <br /> such vending machines, except as otherwise permitted; and repealing <br /> Ordinance No. 2758 and Ordinance No. 2372 and Ordinance No. 3257; <br /> and providing for penalties for violation thereof. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, <br /> or corporation, or other agency, to vend or sell cigarettes, cigars, <br /> or tobacco by the use of an automatic vending machine, or to set <br /> up or install such machines with intent to sell or vend cigarettes, <br /> cigars and tobacco by such method; except at such places as minors <br /> shall not be allowed, as provided by law, to-wit, taverns, liquor <br /> establishments, and other places or institutions in which minors are <br /> prohibited by law from attending or being present. <br /> Section 2: Any person wno shall violate the terms of <br /> this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be <br /> fined the sum of not more than 0100.00 or imprisonment for not more <br /> than thirty days, or both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> Section 3: Ordinance No. 2758, 2372 and 3257 be, and <br /> the same are hereby repealed. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> // a <br /> e,�k <br /> C i t 'y Cl <br /> Passed: April 1, 1952 <br /> Published: April 2, 1952 <br />
