• <br /> • f <br /> } C � r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3364 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 38 of Ordinance No. 3328 <br /> entitled: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to the municipal water supply <br /> system of the City of Everett, providing rules and regula- <br /> tions for the control of said system, regulating the use of <br /> water therefrom, providing for the sale of same, fixing the <br /> price thereof, and providing a method of collecting rates <br /> therefro, providing penalties for violations, and repealing <br /> Ordinance No. 2582 and all ocher ordinances or parts of <br /> ordinances in conflict herewith. <br /> NOlNN, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 38 of Ordinance No. 3328 of the <br /> City of Everett be, and the same is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 38: All water accounts on flat rates shall be <br /> due and payable in advance on the first day of each bi- <br /> monthly period commencing with the month of April. Rebates <br /> will be made on flat accounts by the Water Department for <br /> vacancies or removals where rates are paid in advance when <br /> notice in writing is given of such vacancy or removal. All <br /> water accounts on meters shall be payable on the first of <br /> each bi-monthly period commencing with the month of May. <br /> All charges for water shall be payable at the office of the <br /> Water Department to the City Treasurer. If water rates are <br /> not paid within said time, they shall become delinquent <br /> and the water may be immediately shut off from the premises <br /> of any tenant or occupant of the same until all arrears are <br /> paid, together with a charge of 40. 50 for e oenses of <br /> inspection, and shutting off and turning on the water. <br /> Mayo r <br /> iE <br /> Attest : <br /> E <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: Feb. 26, 1952 <br /> Published: Feb. 27, 1952 <br /> s 4 <br />
