ORDINANCE NO. 3363 <br /> AN ORDINANCE raising the salary of bacteriologist from <br /> 300.00 a month to 4315.00 a month, and declaring an emergency. <br /> WHEREAS, at the time of fixing of the budget for the <br /> year 1952 it was anticipated that a bacteriologist could be secured <br /> for the sum of 4300.00 per month, and <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that no person with <br /> f sufficient education and ability as a bacteriologist can be secured <br /> to perform the work necessary for the City of Everett for the sum <br /> of 4300.00 per month, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary for the public safety and <br /> welfare that a bacteriologist be retained by the City of Everett, <br /> i <br /> 11, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVER II T DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to <br /> exist for the reason that the City of Everett is unable to secure <br /> a bacteriologist to remain with the City of Everett for a sum of <br /> less than 4315.00 per month, and that it is necessary for the public <br /> safety and welfare that the City of Everett retain a bacteriologists <br /> Section 2: That the salary of bacteriologist for the <br /> year 1952 be raised from 4,300.00 to v315.00 per month. <br /> Mayor <br /> j <br /> Attest: <br /> id, ,e(- <br /> 4,,,,,„ <br /> / City C'l er/ <br /> Passed: Feb. 26, 1952 <br /> 13 <br /> ',.
