(. , • • • ORDINANCE NO. 3359 AN ORDINANCE submitting to the qualified electors of Everett, a municipal corporation, for adoption or rejection, a pro- position establishing Daylight Saving Time for the City of Everett commencing the last Sunday in April until the last Sunday in Sept- ember of each year, PROVIDING that, if the time observed in the adjacent metropolitan area shall be changed, then. the City Commission- ers may change the period of time established for Daylight Saving Time. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Daylight Saving Time is hereby establish- ed for the City of Everett commencing the last Sunday in April of each and every year until the last Sunday in September in each and every year, by advancing Pacific Standard Time one hour, PROVIDED that, in the event the time observed in adjacent metropolitan areas may change, then the City Commissioners of the City of Everett may e change the period of time established for Daylight Saving Time. Section 2: That the proposition as set forth in Section 1 above shall be submitted to the qualified electors of the City of Everett as a proposition on the llth day of March, 1952. Section 3: That the form of ballot to be used in said election shall be as follows : Shall the City of Everett establish Daylight Saving Time by advancing Pacific Standard Time one hour from the last Sunday in April to the last Sunday in September of each and every year, PROVIDED that if the time observed in the adjacent metropolitan area shall be changed then the City Commissioners may change the period of time established for Daylight Saving Time.
