and maturities of said bonds shall be as hereafter fixed by ordinance <br /> F of the City. <br /> Section 3: It is hereby found and declared that an <br /> emergency exists requiring the calling of a special election to be <br /> held on March 11, 1952, in conjunction with the City election to be <br /> held at said time, for the purpose of submitting the following <br /> proposition to the qualified electors of the City for their <br /> ff ratification or rejections <br /> 1' <br /> �► PROPOSITION <br /> Shall the City of Everett, Washington, issue its <br /> general obligation bonds in the principal sum of <br /> 600,000, such bonds to bear interest at a rate of <br /> not to exceed 6% per annum, to mature in from 2 to 6 <br /> years from date of issue, and the principal and <br /> interest thereof to be payable from annual tax levies <br /> �+ to be made without limitation as to rate or amount, <br /> for the purpose of providing funds to pay part of <br /> the cost of constructing, installing and making im- <br /> provements to certain streets and avenues within the <br /> City, all as more fully provided in Ordinance No. <br /> 338 , adopted January 22, , 1952? <br /> BONDS, YES [7 <br /> BONDS, NO / / <br /> The precincts, pollingplaces therefor, and the election <br /> , <br /> pofficials to serve at each such precinct for this special election <br /> )': <br /> ;_ shall be the same as the precincts, polling places and election <br /> jr officials for the general City election to be held on the same date. <br /> The polling places for such special election shall be <br /> open from 8 o' clock a.m. to 8 o' clock p.m. <br /> Section 4: This ordinance is declared to be one necessary <br /> for the immediate preservation or the puolic peace, property, health <br /> , and safety of the people of the City of Everett, Washington. xn <br /> emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance is hereby <br /> ; declared to be in full rorce ana effect from and after its passage, <br /> approval and publication as provided by law. <br /> UNANIMOUb.LY PASSED by the Mayor and Council of the City <br /> of Everett, Wasnington, at a meeting of said Council duly hela on <br /> January 22, , 1952. <br /> -4- <br />
