r ORDINANCE NO. 3351. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRIVING the assessment an. assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 593 for the im- provement of Oakes Avenue from 10th Street south to the Athletic Field by grading to proper grade, construction of concrete curbs and gutters, construction of a light bituminous surface treat- ment on roadway, construction of concrete sidewalks, installation of necessary drainage and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, in accordance with a petition signed by the owners of more than seventy-five (75A per cent of the lineal frontage and seventy- five (75%) per cent of the area within the proposed district, petitioning for said improvement and requesting that the limits of the assessment be raised to not more than two times the assesses valuation, as provided by Ordinance No. 3168 of the City of Everett, levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land or other property as shown on said roll; providing for the issuance of bonds therefore, and fixing the date of issue thereof. THE CITY OF Eta ERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 593 for the improvement of Cakes Avenue from 10th Street south to the Athletic Field by grading to proper grade, construction of concrete curbs and gutters, con- struction of concrete sidewalks, installation of necessary drain- age and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connectio therewith to make a complete improvement, in accordance with a petition signed by the owners of more than seventy-five (750) per cent of the lineal frontage and seventy-five (75%) per cent of the area within the proposed district, petitioning for said im- provement and requesting that the limits of the assessment be raised to not more than two times the assessed valuation, as pro- vided by Ordinance No. 3168 of the City of Everett, as the same now stands, be, and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown ay said roll is hereby declared to be especially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment against said lot, tract and parcel of land, or other property appearing on said roll in the amount finally charged against the same. Section 3: That the 15th day of January , 1952 , is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required to be issued on account of said improvement. Section 4: That the sum charged against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property, or any portion of such sum, may be paid during the thirty-day period following the date of first publication by the Treasurer that such assessment roll has been placed in his hands for collection. Section 5: That the City of :6verett may sell said bonds and make payments in cash in the manner provided by the ordinances of said city.
