ORDINANCE NO. =��z <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the allocation of additional <br /> funds to cover unanticipated expenditures for the Paint Depart- <br /> ment of the City of Everett as follows: <br /> Capital outlay $1,420.00 <br /> WHEREAS, the expenditures in the Paint Department for <br /> the item hereinabove set forth will be in excess of the amount <br /> budgeted for the year 1951, and <br /> WHEREAS, said expenditure could not have been reasonably <br /> foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1951, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist <br /> and that the sum of $1,420.00 is hereby allocated to the capital <br /> account of the Paint Department, which shall be in addition to <br /> that amount provided for in the budget for the year 1951. <br /> Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of the <br /> General Current Expense Fund of the City of Everett not other- <br /> wise budgeted for the year 1951 the sum of 81,420.00, which sum <br /> shall be paid by the issuance of emergency warrants drawn on said <br /> fund by the proper officers of the City of Everett as required <br /> by law and shall be charged against the Paint Department. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> T, KZ j <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: October 30th, 1951. <br /> Published: " 31st, 1951. <br />
