• . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3339. <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ALLOCATION OF ADDITIONAL <br /> FUNDS TO COVER UNANTICIPATED EXPENDITURES FOR THE FOLLOWING <br /> DEPARTMENTS FOR THE YEAR 1951. <br /> Inspection Department: <br /> Employees Retirement-Plumbing Inspector 125.00 <br /> Miscellaneous Department: <br /> Liability Insurance 4,644.80 ✓ <br /> Water Department <br /> Maintenance and Operation 55,000.00 ✓ <br /> Total Appropriation Requested 4590769,80 <br /> WHEREAS, the expenditures in the departments for the <br /> items hereinabove set forth will be in excess of the amount bud- <br /> geted for said department and items for the year 1951, and <br /> WHEREAS, said expenditures could not have reasonably been <br /> foreseen at the time of the making of the budget for the year <br /> 1951 and that it is necessary that said expenditures may be made <br /> for the maintenance of the health, welfare and best interests of <br /> the City of Everett, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency exists and the following <br /> departments are hereby allocated the following sums to cover the <br /> following expenditures in said departments in addition to that <br /> provided in the budget for the year 1951, to-wit: <br /> Inspection Department: <br /> Employees Retirement-Plumbing Inspector. . . . .. . . 125.00 <br /> Miscellaneous Department : <br /> Liability Insurance 4,644.80 <br /> Water Department : <br /> Maintenance and Operation 55,000.00 <br /> Total Appropriation Requested 459,769.80 <br /> Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of the <br /> General Current Expense Fund for the year 1951 the sum of <br /> $4,769.80, and there is hereby appropriated out of the vNater <br /> System Fund the sum of 455,000.00, which sums so paid shall be <br /> charged against the department to which they are allocated. <br /> Oa y o r <br /> Atte : <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: August 14th, 1951. <br /> Published: " 15th, 1951. <br />
