ORDINANCE NO. 3337. <br /> AN ORDINANCE declaring an emergency to exist and provid- <br /> ing for the allocation of additional funds to cover unanticipated <br /> expenditures for the Park Department for transportation for the <br /> year 1951 in the sum of $1,280.35. <br /> WHEREAS, the expenditures in the Park Department for <br /> transportation will be in excess of the amount budgeted for the <br /> year 1951, and <br /> WHEREAS, said expenditures could not have been reason- <br /> ably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1951 <br /> and it is necessary that said ep enditure be made for the mainten- <br /> ance of the health, welfare and best interests of the City of <br /> Everett, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF E'VERI�TT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to <br /> exist and the sum of 1,280.35 is hereby allocated to the Park <br /> Department for transportation expenditures in addition to that <br /> amount provided for in the budget for the year 1951. <br /> Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of the <br /> General Current Expense Fund for the year 1951 the sum of <br /> 41,280.35, which sum so paid shall be charged against the Park <br /> Department. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> 764 71/4442 <br /> City C]e rk <br /> Passed: July 18th, 1951. <br /> Published: July 19th, 1951. <br />
