ORDINANCE NO. 3327• <br /> AN ORDINANCE DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST AND PRO- <br /> VIDING FOR THE ALLOCATION OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO COVER UNANTI- <br /> CIPATED EXPENDITURES FOR THE STREET DEPARTMENT FOR CAPITAL OUTLAY <br /> FOR THE YEAR 1951 IN THE SUM OF $8,842.50. <br /> WHEREAS, the expenditures in the Street Department for <br /> capital expenditures will be in excess of the amount budgeted for <br /> the year 1951, and <br /> WHEREAS, said expenditures could not have been reason- <br /> ably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 1951 <br /> and it is necessary that said expenditure be made for the main- <br /> tenance of the health, welfare and best interests of the City of <br /> Everett, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to <br /> exist and the sum of y 8,842.50 is hereby allocated to the Street <br /> Department for capital expenditures in addition to that amount <br /> provided for in the budget for the year 1951. <br /> Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of <br /> the City Street Fund for the year 1951 the sum of 'y$8,842.50, which <br /> sum so paid shall be charged against the Street Department. <br /> A74-7: <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest:.T <br /> • <br /> • ity erk <br /> •assed: Hay $th, 1951. <br /> •ublished:May 9th, 1951. <br />
