ORDINANCE NO. 3323. <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the allocation of additional <br /> funds to cover unanticipated expenditures for the Street Department <br /> of the City of Everett for a portion of the cost of construction for <br /> 41st Street cut-off constructed by the State of Washington. <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of the City of Everett' s share of the con- <br /> struction of the 41st Street cut-off could not have been reasonably <br /> anticipated at the time of fixing the budget for the year 1951, and <br /> WHEREAS, It is now necessary to pay the State of 6ashington <br /> the sum of 23, 516. 33, the share of the cost of the construction of <br /> the 41st Street cut-off due by the City of Everett to the State of <br /> Washington, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency exists and the sum of <br /> $23, 516.33 is hereby allocated out of the Street Department Fund for <br /> payment to the State of Washington for the City of Everett' s share <br /> of the cost of construction of the 41st Street cut-off known as <br /> Broadway Project U-001-4 (3) State Contract No, 3576. <br /> • <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> / /xi <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: January 30, 1951. <br /> Published: Jan. 31, 1951. <br />
