• / , , a ORDINANCE NO. 3289. An Ordinance providing for the vacation of the following described property in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to-wit: The West 15 feet of the east 40 feet of the north half of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of section 36, Township 29 north, Range 4, East W.M. WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the pri- vate property abutting upon the portion of street above described have duly filed their petition with the City Council of Everett, praying for the vacation of said portion of street; and WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did, by resolution duly adopted, fix the 7th day of June, 1950, at 10:0t o 'clock a.m. , of said day for the hearing and determination of said petition; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the City Clerk in the manner required by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing no per- sons appeared or made objections to the vacating of the herein de- scribed portion of street and no objections of any kind were made to the granting of said petition; and WHEREAS, it now appearing to the City Council that said petition should be granted and said Council noes hereby determine to vacate the above described property, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN; Section 1: That the property in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as follows, to wit: The west 15 feet of the east 40 feet of the north half of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of section 36, Township 29 north, Range 4, East W.M. be, and the same is hereby vacated, and the title to the land in said portion of street above described is hereby declared to vest in the abutting property owners as provided by law.
