be improved by constructing lateral sewers together with necessar
<br /> appurtenances, and providing for the necessary surface drainage
<br /> and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection there
<br /> with, to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with the
<br /> maps, plans, and specifications prepared under the direction of
<br /> the Engineer of the City of Lverett, which maps, plans, and spe-
<br /> cifications are hereby approved and adopted.
<br /> Section 3: That the cost and expense of such improve-
<br /> ment, including all necessary incidental expense, shall be borne
<br /> by ana assessed against the property included in the assessment
<br /> district herein created in accordance with the special benefits
<br /> conferred without regard to the zone and termini method. 'he
<br /> City of Everett shall not he liable in any manner for any portion
<br /> of the costs ana expenses of such improvement, except as provided
<br /> by Chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto,
<br /> and the ordinances of the oity of Everett.
<br /> Section 4: That there is hereby established a Local
<br /> Improvement District to be known as Local Improvement Listrict No.
<br /> 612 , which district shall include the following described
<br /> property, to-wit:
<br /> That part of Block 15, Ventral Park Ada. to Everett, Snoho-
<br /> mish County, Vr'ash. lying southerly of vacated Maryland Ave.
<br /> and westerly of the following described line: Begin at a
<br /> point on the south line of Maryland Ave. 90 ft. easterly of
<br /> ana at right angles to the east line of l+iermont Place, th
<br /> southeasterly along a line parallel to and 90 ft. easterly
<br /> from the east line of 14ermont rlace to the north line of
<br /> Lot 60 in said Elk. 15, th easterly along the north line of
<br /> said Lot 60 to a point equidistant from the east line of
<br /> Mermont Place and the west line of Rucker Ave. , th south-
<br /> erly along a line equidistant from said east line of Mer-
<br /> mont Place and said west line of Fucker Ave. to a point of
<br /> intersection between the above described line and a line 90
<br /> ft. easterly of and parallel to the east line of 1iermont
<br /> Place, th southerly along a line parallel to and 90 ft. dis-
<br /> tant from the easterly line of iriermont Place to the north
<br /> line of 48th tit. ; also
<br /> That part of Elk. 16, Central Park Add. to Everett, Snoho-
<br /> mish County, lying easterly of Mate highway No. 1
<br /> Elk. 17, Central Park Add. to Lverett, Snohomish County,
<br /> tiNashinuton. , less the following: the southeasterly 16.89
<br /> ft. of Lot 6 and Lots 7 through 15, incl.
<br /> Bock 18, Central Park Add. to Lverett, Snohomish Co. , flash.
<br /> i31k. 19, oentral Park Add. to Lverett, Snohomish oo. , flash.
<br /> Lots 1 through 129, inc. in Claremont Heights Add. to
<br /> Everett, Snohomish Uounty, +ashington
<br /> Section 5: A special fund is hereby created to be
<br /> called Local Improvement District Fund No. S12 , which shall
<br /> consist in theaggregate of several amounts assessed, levied, and
<br /> collected on the several lots, tracts, and parcels of land in saii
<br /> local improvement district, and the proceeds of the sale of the
<br /> bonds in said district, for the purpose of defraying the cost and
<br /> expense of such improvement. Out of said fund shall be paid the
<br /> bonds, the interest thereon, and the entire cost of such improve-
<br /> ment.
